Nicole Cornes wants me

Postby Dutchy » Mon Oct 15, 2007 8:35 pm

vote

Got a phone call in the middle of dinner tonight, thought it was the usual telemarketing call, well I guess it was!

"Hi this is Nicole Cornes" then a silence as I presumed it was a recorded message!

after I realised it was actually her on the end of the line, I put my tounge back in my mouth and she was actually quite impressive....I couldnt think of any smart questions to ask her, of course I can think of plenty now! she was very heavy on the voting not just for her but for Crud...

good on her for doing it personally and giving it a crack...got to give her credit for that...

anyone else in Boothby got a call?

I think DW meant from you Dutchy, not her.

If she knew that it was a problem time of day, why call and apologise? Ring another time.

She also wangled a deal to help out a local Baseball Club if Labour gets elected

Promise of a $20K grant to improve facilties. The club was previously facing a loan of $10K to repay the Council 1/2 the cost of installing nets on the ground.

She also recommended the club get a second opinion on their legal advice regarding their rights under their lease with the council ...... as was found to be OTM!

Wonder who the baseballers in Boothby will be voting for :D
In between signatures .....

Didn't get a phone call but a while back on a cold wet Saturday she came door knocking my house. Spoke very well / looked yummy mummy!!, think it was in her first week. I thought very dedicated due to weather conditions outside.
Also a few weeks back she organised a neighbourhood corner meeting in my area. Answering many questions very well and I believe making a few peoples minds up for polling day. A beautiful minded family orientated young lady IMO.
She want me..

She can't promise that, ATM Australian Sports Commission money goes to the state offices of Sport and Recreation to distribute for grant funding for facilities??

Dutchy, I'm curious, did she ask you if she could poll you on a few issues?

Nup...first up she asked if there were any questions I would like to ask her....couldnt think of anything so she went into a well scripted speel about her and Rudd....

Then a few pleasantries, I wished her good luck and that was it...
