The ones with paranoid conspiracy theories scribbled all over them were the most entertaining. Even the polling booths themselves ended up with some interesting artwork.

I donkey voted in the 2002 state election by coincidence - the sheet had the candidates listed in the order I was going to put them in!

Yeah, I remember that. But all the names of paid up Liberal members in my electorate could fit on a post-it note. So it's to be expected.

I'm fairly sure that reclaimed marshland at West Lakes was a lot cheaper than CBD real estate, and as it was self-funded by the SANFL, they did what they could with the resources available to them at the time.

The Advertiser is reporting this morning an opinion poll for the seat of Bright (held by Chloe Fox by 9.5%) is looking like it'll be maintained by Labor.

It showed a 55/45 two-party preferred to Fox, giving a swing away from her of 4.4% (?).

I have always voted Labor, Democrats or Greens in the past.
But the big issue for myself is that Liberal have a better policy for harvesting stormwater, and it pisses me off the way that Rann & Labor have pushed the desal plant through despite the independent studies saying that it will be disasterous for the gulf waters.

And this super schools thing sounds like a fuggn disaster in the making too.

The stadium debate is a bollocks issue.
FWIW... I'd rather watch the Bays win a Grand Final in the CBD because it'd be easier to get back to the club while drunk. So who's policy is going to make that happen first?
No ones.

So.... still not sure.
Yeah, Naah,..... Bollocks!

A week or so out from the election and the bookies and punters still have Labor as favourites, although the Libs have made up a bit of ground lately. Latest market:

LABOR $1.40
LIBERAL $2.85

Interestingly, there's also a new market for "Bob Such to hold the balance of power":

NO $1.20
YES $4.10

Isn't the plural of penis "penes"? ;)
Most Latin nouns with an -is ending in the nominative and accusative form go to -es in the plural...
