I hadn't thought of it that way and couldn't have put it better Punky

I also like this quote

``You know having me on his desk, his Parliament House desk ... in his office ... and at the very end when it was finished it was almost like ``OK I have a meeting now, I have to go."

Well, he probably did.

Is she saying having her on his desk was a significant developmental step in their relationship?

No 1 - in a relationship, but not married - doesn't make you single
No 2 - If you succumb to the most basic temptation, where to from here?
No 3 - bonking on the desk of the Premier (its actually not his desk) shows contempt for the position that he holds and the people of SA.
No 4 - Cant wait for Arnold to come here - The Governator meets the Bonkernator
No 5 - I dont even want to think about what Donnie Dunstan did over that desk

What a fab 4 we've got at the top of the pile - Ramm, Im So Ronery, I Have No Idea, and Postman Pat - what a wonderful example of why we should:

1. Change to a republic
2. Abolish the colonies

What will be interesting is the drip feed manner in which this is being released by C7. They started Fri night with a headline and over the next 48 hours of cross promotion, let a bit more out to first the Advertiser and then the Sunday mail so they could keep their news updates going.

Rann has said he will make a statement on Monday. In his defence, he is being backed in to a corner because he will be asked more about it all and C7 still have 10 and 3/4 hrs of footage up their sleeve. They are looking to build this up and up and have him make statements that they will seek to contradict.

What remains at issue is the court case - if there is one. Some reports say Dec 7 is the next appearance date, whilst the program tonight said no charges have been laid (implying that they aren't being laid because Rann doesn't want this sort of court case in the lead up to the election).

The happiest person of all must be Chloe Fox....the timing couldn't have been better for her.

I will keep an open mind on this for now and see what transpires over the next week - or longer!

Which bit makes him a man mal?

Playing up on his future wife?
Pulling a 33 yo woman when he's 50?
Pulling another blokes missus?

Yeah - what a man.

As for the setup - it has been stated that the bloke tried to get the Press to look at this years ago and no one wanted to know about it. Maybe the propaganda machine ensured it didnt. And finally he resorts to creating havoc so his plight cant be ignored. It was said tonight that she has since lost her job with the Education Dept - what is she suppose to think and therefore do? Hell hath no fury...............

Was he "exclusive" at the time Jimmy?

Maybe it would be better if there was male staff only?
Oops, that's no good either.... (see No 5 ;) )

Alleged Premier Affair

Postby AFLflyer » Mon Nov 23, 2009 8:17 am

It would appear that the alleged sexual relationship took place with Rann and Chantelois, but you would have to question the integrity of Chantelois, why would you bare all like that and tell the world! If money is the motive, she is crazy, let sleeping dogs lie! IMO What she was syaing makes not only Rann look bad but more so herself!

Money is a great motivator - large amounts more so.
And of course if you were working as a waitress and you no longer have your job or your marriage, even through your own silly choices, it gets even more powerful.
