Labor, Liberal, Greens, Democrats? Here's the place to discuss.

Julia continuing is the best thing for the opposition - especially come budget time when another of her promises will be broken. The coaltion will add the "come hell or highwater we will have a surplus" to the other backflips on the election ad reel.

Oakeshott and Windsor are goners anyway as their electorates will never forgive them for supporting a Labor government.

Crossing the floor on confidence will signal their political deaths.

Also, just announced .... Kevin Rudd says there are now "no circumstances" under which he would return to the Labor leadership.

Who would want to be the opposition leader for the next 12 years?

The next Labor PM is probably not even in the Parliament now.

One of the best things here is that posters in both camps have been able to debate and comment on everything going on with humour, candour, glee, disappointment etc all free from the bullying of 'red and black'. He really would have ruined all this.

Labor are well and truely rooted. A mini bus may be a little overstated D, Hyundai I30 could do the job. Possibly a motorcycle and side car.

I can not believe the arrogance of both Simon Crean and Julia Gillard to pull a stunt like that on the day when the Government formally apologised to all those people that were the victims of forced illegal adoptions, yesterday was very much meant to be their day and as a result they got little attention in the media and what should have been a good moment in politics like Kevin Rudds Sorry day went to the back burner. Women are ringing the ABC in tears over it at present and are very upset over the fact that they feel like they were ignored back then and they have been ignored again yesterday and today.

Its being discussed that it was Kevin Rudds respect for these people that was a factor in his decision not to have anything to do with it. One I very much agree with, all these muppetts have done is increased Rudds profile further and shown once again how far out of touch with people they really are.

Get out. Rudd was loving the attention and always has. Just didn't have the numbers in the end.

I'm certainly no fan of Gillard but Rudd would be close to the most hypocritical MP going around ... couldn't lie straight in bed.

What I dont get is why are these people resigning now? It was no secret they were Rudd backers in the failed leadership challenge early last year. Possibly a final attempt to destabilise the Gillard government.

It appears Crean was just a suicide bomber and was sacked but since then Fitzgibbon, Marles, Husic, Saffin, Bowen & now Kim Carr have resigned their positions.

And now Martin Ferguson has resigned too.
