Looks like it. His name isn't in the members area either.

Perhaps he ran out of his quota of using these ;) and has been permanently banned for such.....

In fairness having just done some quick reading, I admit I had missed the last day's news on this issue so I can now see where some of the bragging was coming from.

I heard about Tony Hodges involvement and resignation but not about this Kim Sattler and what she did.

What a mess.

KEVIN Rudd is the clear choice among voters to lead the Labor Party ahead of besieged Prime Minister Julia Gillard, a new poll shows.

The former prime minister leads his replacement by 52 per cent to 30 per cent in a Galaxy poll conducted exclusively for The Advertiser.

There was a quote recently in the newspaper which sums up things beautifully for me along the lines of the only good thing about Julia Gillard is that she's not Tony Abbott.

Interesting that a man whose policies and lifestyle are dictated by fairy tales written 2,000 years ago tells anyone to move on. Irony or hypocrisy??

The real story of this Australia day fiasco is that people who were sitting on the fence or had no opinion about what the activists were protesting about, would now have an opinion. The majority of high profile Indigenous leaders have expressed their disapproval of the entire affair. It has taken the spotlight away from the "real" issues affecting Indigenous Australians ie. health, housing, education and employment. I do understand that these might not be the major issues in St Kilda, but in some places in Australia, you see these issues every day.

I should add that the only mainstream political party that could have made a slight difference to Indigenous issues, has shot itself in the foot by trying to score some cheap political points.

Think many people feel that Kevin has "earned his stripes" which seems to be a popular attitude amongst a section of voters. One would think that if they were going to make a move they would do it before the Qld State Election to try and tap into Rudds popularity in his home state where he polls okay unlike Gillard.

"The Howard Years Were No Golden Age":

If Tony Abbott is serious about the Opposition's claims of economic competence, he should stop harking back to the Howard years as he did yesterday at the National Press Club - and here's why

Appears Julia is a very cunning piece of work. After 4 Corners last night her status in the trustworthy stakes would be taking a further battering. Just give up Jules, your gonzo!!
