Is it over for Rann?

Labor, Liberal, Greens, Democrats? Here's the place to discuss.

Possibly so I expect.
I didn't say I thought she was wrong in this case - I simply made a comment about NSD in general.
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!

Latest Centrebet odds for the Sate election:

LABOR $1.18 out from $1.16 two weeks ago
LIBERAL $4.50 in from $4.75 two weeks ago

Looks like the recent mayhem is starting to bite a little bit...

Regardless of what Ranndy did or didn't do, this woman and her husband really need to stop blaming someone else for their problems. She should also face up to the fact that she (allegedly) cheated on her husband and playing some bizzare public revenge game won't help her one bit.

http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/premier-m ... 5826398711

The woman who claims she had an affair with Premier Mike Rann is believed to have delivered results of a lie detector test to the State Administration Centre.
Michelle Chantelois was spotted this morning delivering a parcel to the Victoria Square building, which contains Mr Rann's office.

Sources have told The Advertiser the parcel contained a personal letter from her to Mr Rann and a copy of the results of a lie detector test she took.

One wonders if she is receiving legal or political advice.

In any case Ranndy will meet his fate at the election (whatever that may be).

I think she is letting her ex-husband use her in his own war on Rann

I think he has pulling the strings on all of her actions since this started. Purely my conjecture.

For someone who, in her initial interview, bemoaned the fact that this had to be made public, she certainly seems to have adapted to the limelight rather well.

I guess it is very frustrating for her when the alledged other person involved is treating it with contempt..

Forget all the public stunts and fan fare....
There is one question and one question only..

Has Mike Rann lied and mislead Parliament and the public..??

If so, then he must face the consequence and I don't believe that comes at the polls...IMO

There's obviously no hard proof so I don't think we are ever going to know this for certain unless Rann writes it in his memoirs in 30 years time.

If there was hard evidence we'd have seen it by now. Instead we get a lie detector test hand delivered to his office with another tip off to the media.

That's now 2 fairly lame publicity stunts purely designed to keep her and this issue in the spotlight because (I assume) her and her ex thought they had him by the balls but it hasn't panned out like they hoped.

Keep this up and they run the risk of turning public opinion against them IMO and completely back-firing thieir whole plan.

You think she'd be resorting to lie detector tests if she had something concrete?

Well, maybe. Except there's no need for a slow kill because if she has evidence he's goneski.

And if you had evidence you'd be hand delivering THAT to the Premier's office with media tip off rather than the lame lie detector test.

We'll see I guess.

You'd have to move parliament to The Alma if you want Rob Kerin back

He's a good lad Rob. Had a couple of sessions with him. He's a pretty laid back sort of bloke.
