The current stance by the Trump administration towards Ukraine is deplorable, but unfortunately expected.

Whilst I wish all the schadenfreude possible towards the people of the US, unfortunately there will be significant global damage that will take a long time to rectify.

The damage to the reputation of the US may never be recovered.
