Such a massive backflip to go from proposing 6 months of maternity leave at full pay at election time to cutting maternity leave for nearly 50% of people now.

I know a lot of people are very pissed off

The budget has some good and bad points. Like they all do I guess. But this was always going to br a softer budget. Its part of the lead up to the next election. We were always going to get smashed last year and then gradually soften as we near next election.

But the tax cut to small businesses is an interesting one. Good for small businesses but will hurt the government's ability to raise revune.

Interesting to see the lower profile he has taken this time.

Who do you think would be the replacement? Morrison, Ley, Frydenberg, Robb, O'Dwyer, Dutton, Baldwin, Fletcher, another? Could they go with an Senator Treasurer in Cormann or Sinodinos, with an Assistant Treasurer in the House?

Actually, they've increased total taxes every year for the next four years.

^^ good one. You keep thinking that

My reply to a certain forum users post was asking him/them/her who would be Joe Hockeys replacement after their "thats if from Hockey thats your last budget and the australian public wont be fooled again ".

I am still waiting for a reply for a creditable replacement for him "next time".
