Bit late to be promising to use local stuff when the horse has bolted

In my field, Adelaide Oval, Victorian contractor. nRAH, New South Wales based contractor. Yes indeed.

What abouts Torrens to Torrens, the darlington upgrade and also O'Bahn projects? Anything to do with those boon?

Well really its state and federal so they should be separate issues, but things seem to get greyed around election times.

Another failed practical completion date for the nRAH and the government are yet to "receive advice from and independent reviewer of the revised opening date".

Hmmm. That means that neither the government nor the consortium have any idea when completion will take place.

Snelling says the project "is about $30-40m over budget, but that was the cost of the remedial work to clean up the contaminated site".

WTF is going on down there?

Just more lies from these arse wipes.

Flinders University Emeritus Professor Warren Jones said on 5AA this morning he doesn't expect the nRAH to open for another 3 years
He reckons the EPAS system will never work

It is somewhat ironic that the Govt are actually better off with it not opening.
Saves them $1m per day and Tommy can fiddle the books even more to look like he's got a surplus

I had the basic training in its use when I did a short term locum in the SA public hospital system a year or so ago.
I found it pretty cumbersome and non-intuitive, and I'm used to using clinical software from my private practice background.
(I'm still a beta tester for one of the private clinical software companies.)

To me, it seemed to be more focussed on providing statistics, and evidence of process for legal defence, than making available easily the clinical information about past and present management doctors need to make good clinical decisions.

" When will that be? "

" It will be in September "

Still the best one is Snelling on the radio this week with Transforming Health and moving the cardiac unit from the QEH to the Lyell McEwin Hospital so they have two there (because apparently, according to Snelling, there are more people in the NE). Obviously, the people of the NE are far more important than the people in the western suburbs for the moment
Maybe, maybe not. That's only until the nRAH is finished when they'll move it there (suddenly there aren't as many people up there)
The people in the western suburbs who have a heart attack will now have to go to the Lyell McEwin or the RAH. Only adds 10 - 20 minutes
Oh hang on, anyone been driving around the roadworks in the past month? Add on another 15 - 30 minutes either way
Some lady got on 5AA yesterday and ripped Snelling a new one about his (lack of) IQ, his complete farq up of everything, and basically called him a liar

Any wonder Mark Butler resorted to writing Snelling a letter (that really rocked him).

The people of the western suburbs have just been thrown on the slag heap because they're not swinging voters

Is it me have we had one party for so long even if the mob in power gave us each 10 million dollars the other side would find something wrong .
Don't get me wrong I'm not voting for either of those two parties but one all they do is sound like a wife or mother in law .
