This is what I was talking about before. The cuts that were made were not due to a 1% budget cut. It just didn't add up in the end and I think the CEO was using it as a good chance to cut some programs that were always on the chopping block.

The same as the State Govt did hiking up the ESL and selling off the MAC.
They had every intention of doing it - just need a good excuse to blame someone else
Interesting that Daniel Andrews says although he doesn't agree with Tony Abbott about the E-W Link, he wants to work with him on other projects
Completely the opposite tack to Weatherill who doesn't want to do anything but blame Abbott for his problems
Mind you, Victoria is solvent with a $1.3b budget surplus rising to $3b pa for 2015 - 2018
They have the money to actually do something - no need to throw rocks at other people
