My wife and I were just discussing this. With no independents to bribe it would be a dead heat. My wife was saying the Government would then try to govern through the upper house. If that doesn't work then it's back to the polls.

You get the feeling that some of the protest vote against Labor would swing back to them as people would be scared of another dead heat and that would get Labor back in....just.
