I doubt any Liberal Party member would go to something like this and give that much to Labor to get in.
It sounds more like a faction fight! [Or a hired actor..]

It is understood security was not needed because the $600-a-head Labor fundraising event was considered "low-risk".

It was interesting to note that all of the 150 or so comments on the original Advertiser article disappeared not long after one of your ilk said they thought The Advertiser had doctored the pics of Rann after the incident to make them look worse and the Editor had to reassure this perfectly sane individual that they hadn't been photoshopped.

Now the right-wingers on here have put their heads together and ascertained that (a) it was staged, (b) I did it and (c) it must've been a Labor person involved in factional stuff because of course nice, decent & respectable Liberal Party voters would never do something like this. And you characters wonder why your lot are irrelevant? Just for the record Psyber tried this on with Utegate too it must've been a Labor person involved in factional party politics. I'm surprised you rational specimens of humanity haven't made the leap yet that because the guy assaulted by Rann was supposedly a big strapping bloke that therefore means he was one of those Union thugs.

Gozu, I'm breaking my rule about not buying into your rants, temporarily, because your distortion is really over the top this time, and the reality needs pointing out to you..
1. I didn't see that suggestion pictures had been doctored and don't believe they were. No one of my ilk would suggest that.
2. Suggesting it was staged and possibly by you was, I assume, somebody here joking - nobody really thinks you are that important to the Labor Party.
3. I didn't say no-one from the Liberal Party would assault Rann, but I doubt many would. We are not usually into violence.
4. I did suggest no one in the Liberal Party would give Labor $600 to get in to do it, even if inclined to assault.
5. I did say I thought a faction fight was more plausible because of the $600 a head to get in, and I still do.
