That's good of your firm to do that.

Still send someone in there, instead of insisting the conditions be improved prior to allowing their employees or contractors to work there.

The lowest common denominator factor I am afraid.With everyone on site being a sub-contractor
and getting most of their work from the firm in question in the past and possibly the future even my boss knew he would get no support elsewhere so just did what he did to fill his contractual obligations.We are a specialised trade and very rarely go near places like that .Pity really as the guys were cracking blokes just out making a living for their families and superb tradesmen also but I feel for them and their situation (thus the original post about young lads being sent out )

Still smelly IMO.

If there is a problem and your employer did nothing about it (in fact they contributed to it by sending someone to the site) then they are complicit. It's OK to be upset about the conditions and not participate. It's hypocritical to be upset and still take their money.

But we digress. Back to the topic! :wink:
