Became an ascended being and rose to the heavens to sit on the right hand of God, as all we Liberal Party members ultimately do...redandblack wrote:Absolute crap, Southee.

I've been around for a long time and have always been involved in charity and support events, and organisations like the Friends of the ASO, and Friends of the State Opera.Farmy wrote:You know everybody.Psyber wrote:I knew HH's sister-in-law - i.e. Zara's sister - and her son who was about my age, back in the mid 1970s. Then there are the functions of the AMA, my medical college, and the Liberal Party functions I attend, and old school friends in the Labor party, the law, and the media.
Putting it all together, you get to know a lot of people and meet their friends and acquaintances.
For example, I'd been back in Adelaide only a month early this year, and called into the AMA to transfer back to the SA list, and met the state President who was talking to staff at the desk at the time I walked in, was invited to join his table at the AMA AGM and Annual Dinner, and he introduced me to John Hill, our state Minister for Health at the dinner.
That's how it happens..
