I really don't think anything will make any difference. The ALP is so far ahead in the polls and the new voters who have never lived under a Labor federal government are going to vote for them. It has the feel of the Whitlam election about it.

Oh well, I'll be leaving the country next year anyway to work in the UK. I just can't decide whether to sell the house now while the $AU is strong, or wait for the rise with inflation and gamble on the $AU holding up for a while.

im gonna go out on a limb and call a hung parliament so the whole country gets screwed and our collective fates hang on 1 independent in some backwater seat who wants a new road built through their electorate.
personally happy with howard and i think rudd/gillard are too fake, telling people what they want to hear so they get in, i dont see them delivering on their promises.

I think Liberal will just hang on despite a significant swing against them.

If the Democrats cant find a good preference deal to get on, I think that they will exit Federal Politics at the election with Sandra Kanck to follow in the next State Election, closing the history book on the Democrats.

Ruth Russell ex human shield in Iraq is the Democrats Senate Candidate for S.A. Which begs the question of why people would not vote Green to vote Democrat?
