are there any players in any regional league that have a football manager .. ie arrange payments for them , contract neg. ,
represent at tribunals, etc look for employment etc

i understand that most players recieve money in hand , yet dont declare to tax man ... but claim on expenses....

You should not have to pay tax on any income from playing footy as it should be ruled as a hobby similar to the poker player Joe Hachem but if you claim expenses then you deserve to have the book thrown at you by the ATO.

Our President is a player manager to AFL players and First Class cricketers does that count?

Amatuer Football Player payments are not subject to income tax following a case in Tasmania. This also means that expenses in relation to playing footy are also not deductible.

I'm not aware of any players in our league (HFL) having managers, but I'd stick my hand up to do it if anyone wants one! 5% commission!
