Well done to the SAWFL on an excellent night and congrats to all the winners of awards, trophies, milestones and recognitions. Cheryl Cates and Emma Gibson put together an amazing night and it was great to see so much football royalty there. It was clear how much the girls love their football and dont take it for granted.
The big winners were
Cass Hartley from Westies won the Dutschke medal in the final game of the year with a whopping 25 votes from 15 games from Michelle Reid from Greenacres on 22.
The Leagues Players Player award was "The Klag" Emma Gibson

The Saturday Gameday crew did film some of the event including the exciting conclusion of the count and some of the speeches. There was also a very impressive red carpet (minus the carpet) set of entrances and tips given that will be edited and available soon on footy budget TV

Cheryl Cates will be on Saturday Gameday on 100.5 WOWFM today at 10am-12 or listen online wowfm.org/
