fisho your best tools of research are attending country footy matches and having a beer in the local pub (s) on Saturday night. Buying regional newspapers is also a great source of information.

what sorts of stories fisho? success, hard luck, funny, me running around naked showing everyone my gentleman region?

Blokes p*ssing on team-mates to make them have a shower so they don't stink up the car on the way home?

How about group showering?

Naughty boys on footy trips?

Fat blokes who shouldn't get their gear off and run around the changeroom naked?

Fisho, don't we have rules regarding outing members identites

On a serious note, if they play in the SFL, Bag The Points would be great source of information and I am sure he would pass on his wealth of wisdom. Good luck with it.

I rekon thats a good idea BS, maybe we should piss on all our blokes so they shower!! They just dont know what they are missing in the shower!!

I've been in the showers with BS and I can say it is always an interesting experience.
I don't understand those blokes who don't shower after games. Stinky buggers!

BS, remember that time I flicked my towel and got Phil in the nuts?
I reckon Munny would be a good character for the book too...

Fisho - This is the funniest thing I've ever seen on the footy field:

We were playing United (the local Aboriginal team) back in 2003 on their home ground at Gerard.
The game was getting pretty heated and there'd been a few fists thrown.
Then as one of our players was lining up for goal from about 50 out, a tiny dog ran out onto the field.
The dog squatted perfectly between the goal kicker and the man on the mark.
It then proceeded to lay one of the biggest cables I've ever seen. It was nearly bigger than the dog.
Then the dog ran just ran off back to where it came from.
Both sides went from wanting to kill each other to p*ssing themselves laughing and the rest of the game was played in good spirits.

Ahhhhh Gerard, some of the funniest scenes I've seen on a cricket field occurred there. Memories.

If Fisho wanted to know about pissing on blokes in the shower there is a 'veteran' in her own local team known for it that plays with her other half, pretty sure she would know who I mean, cult figure who has lost nothing with age

yup. he got me in my first shower there as a bright-eyed-fluffy-tailed 16 year old. i havnt been the same person since.

I had the experience of being offered grippo to warm my back up, rather than Deep Heat yesterday.
Later in the day, the same trainer rubbed Vicks into a player's legs instead of Deep Heat.
