The Womes State Fiitball Teams are after their own unique name for the National Championships that they play in each year. U16s, U18s and open women all play in 2011 in Championships in Canberra, Gold Ciast and Adelaide respectively.

Throw some ideas around!

hahaha, Damian was obviously working hard that day :?

In all seriousness though, we really are looking for a name for all Female State Teams.

As you know the Netball has the Thunderbirds, and the Basketball has the Lightening... well, we want something better :D

The SANFL and SAWFL are looking for a name that isn't biased towards either of our AFL teams.

Yes we realise that posting this topic on here has left it very open to your "funny" suggestions (haha) ... and even though i do find some of them quite humerous, i would love to be able say that the State Teams are named by someone within the local football community

... so if you 'have' to say a funny one, please add something more serious too ... Pretty please :d

Play on...

1) - Get my beer from the fridge
2) - Get back and do the laundry
3) - Back to the bedroom

Am sure KLAG will see these as humorous

In my novel I've got a team called the Piping Shrikes - originally the Magpies, but the bird on their emblem looked very small and skinny, hence the name-change. :)
