Think you'd be able to find plenty of examples of 50+ goals. Reckon Mount Torrens, when they were still Mount Torrens, had a few such scores against them in maybe 93 or 94.

And were then prelim finalists in 95

I know one year at Yank in the last minor round of the season we had to beat Pt Elliot (during their worst years) by about 50 odd goals (factoring %ge that was needed) and hope Goolwa (who were a strong team that year) beat Willunga to tip them out of the five and allow us in on percentage. We beat Elliot by by about 57 goals, Goolwa did the right thing by us and won and we snuck in to the finals. If i remember rightly it was the first and only time willunga hadn't been in top 5 all year. the time it mattered most!

that dosnt sound right to me lova.

the score may be correct, but i think i recall the highest score being broken 3 weeks in a row against hackham just last season (2008) i rekon it was christies that broke it the first week, then i think cove (steve ryan kicking 27, and left at 3qtr time to catch a flight), then morphies took the record back the very next week (IIRC pollard kicked around 25 goals)

No worries BB, but it definatley wasnt 2008.

The record was broken three times in the 2007 season. first by christies (59-27) then Reynella (63-30) (Mckeough 19 goals) . Morphies then kicked 65-30 the next week and it was Pollard that kicked the SFL record 27 goals.
I think Ryan kicked 22 goals against hackam in 2005. and came off with 10-15 minutes left to catch a flight that year. Dont think he even played in 2007.

Thats what my statatician tells me anyway.

In school match recently I heard Willunga beat Yankalilla 172.32 (1064) to 0.0. There full forward kicked about 80 I think. Got this from a pretty good source (one of the teachers) too.

Why would you bother playing a school game where a school kicks 172 goals? You're better off forfeiting. But 80 goals for one player? I'm calling that impossible.
