Just doing some promotion for the Gaelic Football Grand Final that is coming up on March 8 2009. If anyone is keen to find out more about this sport and see how its played, the Grand Final is the ideal day to do it! As well as both the men’s and women’s Grand Finals, there will be some Irish dancing, a sausage sizzle, full bar facilities, and even a childrens clown to entertain the little ones.

Lots of Aussie Rules players from the SFL, SAAFL, and GSFL play Gaelic Footy in the summer, with players from the Hills and other Regional leagues playing as well. Safooty.net is also particularly well represented with many posters playing the game!

So head down to St Marys Park (home of Kenilworth Football Club) on Laura avenue in St Mary’s (just off South road) to check out the Grand Final.
