GIVE YOUR CLUB A PLUG...

Postby Footy Chick » Tue Apr 15, 2008 10:04 pm

Hi Kids

I would love to see as many clubs as I can get a mention on the Roots this year.

I can't do it though, without enlisting the help of all you guys.

I want to plug player milestones, I want to plug Past Player Days, or any major happenings around your club.

I also want to know the funny little stories or embarrasing stuff that happens around the place too

If you can supply me with any of the above before 4pm on any given Wednesday, I'll make sure it gets a mention on the show.

Remember, we can't plug your club if we don't know whats going on!

Looking forward to a barrage of PM's

Cheers
FC

Strathalbyn verses Langhorne Creek is usually a cracking game of football that traditionally draws a large crowd of locals from the district to cheer their team to victory, looking to go home with bragging rights. This year will be no exception, especially with the game being played on ANZAC Day at the Strathalbyn Oval under lights 6pm.

Riccuito playing for Waikerie vs Loxton on Anzac Day. Riccuito vs Modra is a strong possibilty for the Renmark vs Waikerie centenary match.
Don't be scared. Now is not the time!

We organise a meat tray raffle every thursday to raise money for the footy trip. Our FD announced that there were two trays going off last night, but the first was rigged so our coach would win. He got pumped up when his number was called until the FD pulls out a tiny tray with two rissoles and a sausage. Cab was shattered. The entire club was in stitches. Almost as funny as the new player who was out drinking with his new footy mates last weekend, got so pissed that he decided to parade his mangina.

Ahh, good times.

Anyway, HDFC is having Saturday Night Sumo Wrestling, May 3rd. Who will be crowned 2008 HDFC Sumo Wrestling Champion?

Waikerie v Renmark
July 12
Centenary Cup for Waikerie's 100th year.

Ricciuto to line up at full forward for the Pies.
Modra to line up at full forward for the Rovers.

Will be a great spectacle.
Both are expected to finish in the top two as well this year.
