Grade 1, 2 or 3?
* Groin strains are graded 1, 2, or 3 depending on how bad they are.
* The athlete with a grade 1 strain might feel mild discomfort, possibly a little tenderness at a particular point but no swelling.
* A grade 2 strain might feel more painful with swelling, pain to touch, reduced range of motion and interference with running.
* A grade 3 strain may be very painful, lots of swelling and total inability to run or even walk

Quite possibly he has!However I've worked with too many sooks over the years ..to trust ANY self diagnosis
I've seen players almost in tears cos' they're in such pain (ie: one player came off on the stretcher because he thought he'd blown his calf muscle.. wouldn't let me touch it, so sent him straight to sportsmed..turned out to be cramp
)

You just said you made it worse by playing on it and then said you're not going to take the time to fix it.. is this because you think you're the be all and end all of the C grade and they can't possibly win without you?
I yell at people like youNo sympathy here...

yeah i did the ricer rotine for the proper amount of time, today was a bit better im still restricted to walking and still burning a bit. But whats burning me even more is FCs torrent of abuse last night! Still with no apology????Quichey wrote:Hitting the piss didn't do you any favours. Probably set you back a week. Did you ice it at all in the first 48 hours?
I always keep a pack of Voltaren Rapid handy during football season to help reduce inflammation.
After 72 hours give the area hot/cold treatment. Begin strength exercises pertinent to the area. Monitor for pain. Hit the exercise bike. If you decide you think you can run, do it only in straight lines to begin with.
See a physio, once for diagnosis and time frame and one more for a follow up when you think you're ready to play again.
