If anyone has any info, scores, highlights, tables of any/all of the Southern Cricket comps I'd be interested.
Unfortunately the Southern Cricket comp never gets a gig in the Messenger and I can't be stuffed just buying the Argus for cricket scores.
Cheers.

PS Played for the Shoes for nigh on 8 or 9 years. Captain, Committee, etc but mainly C grade as a player.

Played against him a few weeks ago.
He doesn't bowl as much lately coz he's giving the younger guys in the side a decent go.

People were saying about 12 years ago when I was playing there Laney was too old.
The old draught horse keeps rolling them down there though!
I even played a couple of footy games with him after he gave the soccer away and he did a pretty good job in C grade, read the play exceptionally well.
Tell him Wedgie says gudday.

Nah Tazz, I hate to tell you mate but Ive permanently retired from cricket as Ive discovered lawn bowls.
Its great, I have to wear whites like cricket but I can get a beer between overs/ends!

It would be an interesting game between you and Constance Perm to see who would fall over drunk first.
