Merchandise suppliers

Hi all,
Was just wondering what suppliers cricket clubs use for their playing shirts etc. We've been using Sportscentre the past couple of years but this season their service has been terrible and we are having a tough time chasing up some missing merchandise which wasn't made despite payment. No matter how many times we call/email them or even drop in, nobody is available to handle our query. Its got to the point where one new player to the club ordered a custom shirt before round 1 and he will still be wearing his old club shirt in the finals at this due to their poor service!

Has anyone else had trouble with them? We will be looking elsewhere in the future for club shirts without a doubt!

I've always had issues with sportscentre, with rugby league, footy and cricket. They are awful and ofter shocking customer service, and lengthy waits and they almost always f**k something up!!

You could try Viv Sports on Churchill Rd Prospect, or JS Sports near Salisbury? Or Kukri or Kooga?

Or you could go really left field and find some small apparrel company online and order your shirts that way?

I wonder how long this thread will take to get deleted.

I posted a similar experience we've had with JS and the mods elected to delete it. I'd assume they will apply the same treatment to this thread?

The fact that JS is a sponsor to me should mean that you don't promote other suppliers.
It doesn't mean you should bad mouth the others without allowing comment on JS does it?

Was your issue fixed?

Maybe it was deemed not necessary to continue the discussion....

My club recently got some polos organised through Sandy Nelson Teamwear. Very easy and quick process.

Playing shirts we organised through The Gillespie Centre a few years ago. Wasn't quite as painless! Good looking shirts though.

I think a few problems down at sportscentre have been cleared up recently, maybe the departure of someone down that way will help clean things up a bit. As someone who deals a lot with various clubs shirts footy shorts and socks, we have had problems with them and also other suppliers of team wear including JS and PDR to name a couple - it is always a problem when club boards/committees have about 6/8 different people that have to approve designs etc

I'm please to say JS Sports have since contacted me to clear up any misunderstanding in relation to the pricing, misprints, omissions and delivery times on our order this season.

It seems customer service is really picking up from suppliers at the moment which can only be a good thing for us consumers.
