well i didn't even hear a whisper that he was going to leave so all the best at the the peckers to him.
well a few gaping holes are going to have to be filled now especially with some new juniors stepping up into seniors with none of them are absolute standouts as yet. its time you cemented your spot in the A's mate

Eags, another out for the mighty WTDCC is Simon Marshall who will not be returning. A couple new of new signings have appeared at training. Will pick up their names this Thursday to post here.
Cheers!

No great shame there - he gave as much of a toss about west torrens as he did Adelaide.
SACA have just passed a rule which will allow each club 2 x English cricket academy players for the coming season. I have heard it will be done in a lottery type pool.
How does this affect each club. I can think of alot more negatives than positives!

Maddog, Marshy actually performed very well at the Eags and did fit into the club quite well. Won a few matches off his bat, and his bowling.

the bloke was more concerned about collecting his paycheck from lancs and drinking piss more than giving a toss about his club. weather it was West Torrens or Adelaide.
in his two years in Australia he has a top score of 84 with an aggregate of about 250 for an average of 20 odd in each year.
PS mike assume you aren't going to be back for the trial game this week??

I agree he did well in the 1 dayers - did well for Adelaide in those as well, but then pissed off home before the finals. He is an arrogant twit, serves him right he got dropped from Lancs for the C&G cup final at Lords for Murali Kartik (his 1st game of the season). Couldnt happen to a nicer bloke.....
I get back in just over 2 wks heater31

Looks like East Torrens are going to be pretty average again this year. Not reaching 100 in either innings and basically being bowled out twice in a Day.
What are people thoughts on some of these games. Adelaide looked like they would need lesser lights to step and by the looks Blake Lenthal has done that by the way of scoring his maiden A Grade hundred I believe.

Any comings and goings for 2007/08?
Have heard WT have picked up Crichton from Flinders Park (ATCA) but will likely start in B's. Also have a few Ugandan U19 players - one a very handy med-fast bowler who will push for A grade selection (in the mould of Bourn who has seemingly retired from A grade cricket).

Not sure about Bourney having retired from A Grade. We have picked up a couple of Ugandans and have picked up the NZ Under 19 Wicketkeeper/Batsman (Brad Cachopa I think is his name).
Cheers
