Hey Everyone!!!

After such a successful day raising money for the Queensland Flood Appeal the "BA$H-4-CA$H" is back for the 2011/2012 season! This season we are raising money for the Haemophilia Foundation of Australia. Haemophilia is a blood clotting disorder which affects only around 2,000 men in Australia. I have personal cause to raise money for this foundation as my son is a haemophiliac so please throw your support behind this great day and help raise money for a little known organisation which is making a big difference to families like mine! We intend to have the same layout for the day as the Queensland Flood Appeal day with the PDCA and C&CCA fielding 3 teams each in an under 21's, Masters (over 35's) and an open selection "best XI".

I am still after a venue for mid november so if anyone can help please contact me ASAP. I have received a letter from the Haemophilia Foundation (HFA) with licenses from the Government of South Australia, Office of Liquour and Gaming to raise money on behalf of the HFA. If anyone can be of any assistance, either as a volunteer or to donate goods or services to the day please contact me ASAP.

JS SPORTS have already offered to sponsor the day by supplying us with playing shirts. I will be meeting with a member from the JS SPORTS team in the next week or 2 to discuss what the shirts will look like so stay tuned for more details

if you are looking for a venue with hard wicket the morphettville park cricket club would like to offer you their facilities for a day. pm me if this suits your needs.

Everyone should get right behind this cause. All it takes is for everyone to head down for game day, buy a few drinks and a few snags from the BBQ and you have done your part!

West Croydon Football Club has a couple turf wickets that could possibly be prepared & used.

If it was to be held at the morphettville park c.c it could be good to see the ASCA involved in it which would be easily organized I would think.

Im happy to involve more/different associations as long as I recieve assistance from someone within those associations to organise players. I am working with the pdca and c&cca as I have contact with senior members from these associations.

coverking sounds like a great way to promote our comp. maybe we could speak to someone on the committee and see what they think.

Yeah well we got a couple executives from our club on it mate so il look into it for sure.

Already spoken to one and he is definitely keen to get involved if its possible.

You guys did a great job last year in helping communities in need and I'm sure this year will be as good a result.

We have a tentative agreement from Adelaide Lutheran CC to allow us to use their venue for this seasons Ba$h-4-Ca$h!!

Just waiting for a few 'official' things to go through but hopefully we can confirm the venue in the next week or so!

Where: South Parklands, Cnr. South Tce & Goodwood Rd., Adelaide

I am pleased to announce that this venue has been confirmed for the above mentioned date! I have also received offers from the bouncy castle and live DJ from the last event to take part again so I will confirm with them asap. I will start looking into organizing teams asap also... most clubs are starting to get out to training now so hopefully we will be able to line up players soon!

Have heard from the bouncy castle operator and the guy that did the live DJ'ing last time round and neither of them can make it this time If anyone has any suggestions for some childrens entertainment please let me know. Also if anyone knows a face painter that is willing to donate their time on the day please contact me asap

Hey All,

I apologize for the lack of communication from my end about the Bash-4-Cash event for this season. My son has been in and out of hospital recently with bleeds from his Haemophilia and it has been a very tough time for me. I am trying to get back on top of everything now. If anyone is able to help me I would appreciated it greatly. I am still in need of organising a bbq and food for the day so if anyone can help with that please let me know ASAP.
