A new season beckons so share your midyear gossip and thoughts on the approaching season.

The moose wants less wyc talk after two posts ;) maybe he could of posted last year when he was struggling for form instead of watching in the background :lol:

Top 4 this year:
WYC
Coromandel
Coro Ramblers
Cove

Icc with no sambo = absolute no chance!

Keswick rely on 3 players so can't see them making it.

Plympton, will be talked about by their own once again, but will struggle to bowl any sides out. Change of captain?

Belair - no idea.

Glenelg - will be around the mark as always

South road - play like they did against us last year (bowling wise) they will be a force. Don't make enough runs though

Morphys - will be a hard side to beat but won't play finals. Looking forward to the inaugural Dave Lee Trophy match.

Sheidow - if it's true camo has left, their in strife. However there young and talented, will knock of many good sides. Little smokey for 4th spot

Also looking forward to the Inagural David "Sleazy" Lee Trophy/Cup as weel. Hope to make a good rivalry into a yearly bonanza, soon to rival the Pies/Bombers Anzac Day clash ;)

Don't think anyone will stop WYC making it back to back this year. Even if Benny Mac misses most of the year I still think they have enough to cover it.

Sheidow will again have a learning year and with probably 9 out of the 11 again being under 24 or so will hopefully push the top 4 sides. They lose Camo which hurts but Sam Foster will have a massive season this year with bat and ball. Probably just lacking one extra pace option without Camo to back up the spinners. With a bit of luck hopefully the boys can replicate the 08/09 season and play finals.

And Moe, went cove because I think after last year they'll know a bit more about our comp, will destroy the lower sides once again and will get a win or two against the top sides that should bs enough to get them into the 4

Don't think there joining together. WOS have folded. McRae at keswick and no doubt some other WOS players will join them. Keswick have again changed oval. From AHS, to west beach, to marymount to WOS. Surely not a good thing for the club?

I'm glad Westminster is still being used. I love that oval for all reasons except a long walk to the toilet. Cracking ground that one

Keswick picking up mcrae is a big win. did visser go to wyc? I think the biggest loss is richie veroude from ramblers, first season back after 4 years off and at times was unplayable with the ball. He will be missed but we feel we have the depth in the b grade to cover him, just might mean af might get more of a bowl. haha
