Have utmost respect for Weaver, Davey, etc. What they have achieved as a team and as individuals is amazing.

As for Gatting. would not pi55 on him if he was on fire and last thing I would want to see is him get a Premiership Medal, absolute cheat and the previous suspension proves that.

Bit harsh mate...

Had he been suspended in that game (2 years ago), would that suspension not carry over til his next game in Premier Cricket? ie. Round 1 this year? Why would SACA allow him to play, given they alledgedly know that he is tampering with the ball?

That is an amazing effort by Josh Barrett, really good keeper/batsmen who would be next behind Harry Neilsen you would think.

East Torrens again batted on forever, looks like extra 40 overs today, but still lost to Adelaide, similar to what they did against us. Very negative cricket, rightfully resulted in two losses.

TTG, Uni and Sturt just about safe now, one spot left with several teams a chance. Interesting last four games coming up!

Not on the field after the wicket but off it during the lunch and tea breaks!, between the ND captain and couple of seahorse players.

I see Port Adelaide's U16 Red team had a win on the weekend. Over Adelaide by 2 runs. First win by any Port junior team this season - U17s, U16 Red, U16 White, U14 Red, Ray Sutton Shield and U12 teams had lost every other game so far. Hopefully the the start of something. Junior cricket not all about winning of course but much easier to get the kids to come to training excited and full of energy when there has been the odd victory. Not to mention easier to get them back next season.

Is it true that SACA will remove D Grade and turn the C Grade into a One Day competition next season?

Would have thought they have bigger issues with the now redundant U/17 carnival.....

Some clubs are fine fielding 4 senior sides each week and others struggle....goes in cycles too.

So if C and D Grade and Juniors get called off this week due to heat, should a 14 year old kid be able to play? Personally, I don't think it is safe and he should not be allowed to play.

Hopefully all grades are called off and made one day games the following week. Think they called A Grade off when 43 degrees last year, so what's one degree difference going to make?

Paints SACA into a corner you would think.......Clubs 1st oval has access to better facilities/more volunteers around to assist than a club's 2nd ground.
