For the record i prefered the old forum......sooo many memories.

Heard a rumour about some Roys recruits. Will definetly increase the depth of the club. One of the recruits likes to yap a bit. Rahahaha. Now if we can just get a quick who isnt old or injured.

creeman was the name your were looking for Carey! the fast bowler from morialta that you thought was a wanker! thats not because he took to your bowling, hit the biggest six i have ever seen and gave a bit of lip! they are true credentials for a great player! and he is not a bad bloke if i do say so.

Heard a whisper there'll be nothing but 20/20 matches in all grades with 7 interchangeable players; one 8/8 grade with bowling restrictions of 1.6 overs per bowler, on-field alcohol allowed and personal sledging encouraged, and; 20pt penalties for unregistered players... ;)

only a few of us, more retirements than any i think. ashley, beer, baker and myself will be playing at gepps i think. It will be a shame to see the demise of Morialta. i put my heart and soul into that club for the past ten years, and all i got in return was... nothing. :butthead:

you will still see the regulars in Hill, Tindale, Balneaves, Scooter and May. and the rest made up of B graders. see how long they last when Hilly is bowling all day from one end and opening the batting every week. :Hangman: :axe:

just had our first hit out for the year at st jays indoor nets interesting pitch's very bouncy but hard at times to pick the ball up off the blue nets when batting although it could be the 312 beers we had last night.

Those nets are a joke. Cannot pick up the ball at all. Dont know why they would have blue matting.

ohhhhh dont ge me started!!!!!!
load of rubbish to want to pass 4 interchange players....thats 16 different combination of events per team per game. surely the exec is kidding?????

given the problems from last year, the exec need to consolidate on current management regimes and spend some time, over the next few years, to tighten up the rules.

infact i will go one step further and say that churches/paradistrict/suburban need to have one set of rules. this is especially important for churches as we are the weakest of the three, and if we are going to play aginst our peers, it should be on the same level. this will be good for cusa cup, and good for carnivals.

oh...and having a one dayer at 35 overs is crap. if this goes through....oh boy. we may as well do 20/20 and be done with it.

Thanks for the kind words BB.
If you were a team man youd be at training on tuesday instead of lapping up yet another holiday. Life at the top must be tough. Anyway who are these recruits youve picked up?
