6 days to go, it seems as though we'll be having 8 teams per grade at this stage.

I would think that they'd put their hand up again to do it, I think Mick & Frank are heading down the right track to keep Two Wells viable, we do the kids one, I don't know if we could cope with doing the seniors. There's not really many other places big enough to hold it.

If clubs are keen on making money they should look at our 20/20 format from last season, it worked really well and there was good money made. It requires 4 clubs to make it viable.

Hardly any of the recipients, we had to use alternative venues aswell due to football up and running. It has been a successful transition to move it to a Wednesday night, there is plenty of notice so alternative arrangements can be made ie: Work etc.
It is always a good night to catch up for a beer with various players and officials that we've played against in previous times, the attendance is usually pretty good.

To be honest with you mate, they seem to be very positive and may have two sides for 09/10, they are hoping to be placed relatively low but I'm not sure on their chances.

How does Ando go?

Yeah, I checked out his stats on the PDCA site, lacked opportunity in the star-studded line-up ;) .

put chrissy in any side and it becomes a " star studded line up" ;)

ando would be the first to admitt that his short ball always got smashed in grade 1..
it then played in his head everytime he would bowl..
was always a good new ball bowler just the confidence was a problem in the end.. IMO..
