High score

In an ATCA Under 15 game a team scored 3/406 on Sunday in 63 overs. I can't image there would be too many higher scores at that level. Anyone know of any?

Cheers

0/721 off 40 overs.

Not a good day to field, obviously!

BTW I forgot to mention that yesterday's opening stand of 193 was by brothers, Jordan and Jacob. Jordan got the ton but little bro Jacob just missed out. Maybe it's a record for brothers in ATCA.

0/721 off 40 overs.

In the first game of this season, a one-dayer, Gepps scored 5/250 and bowled the opposition out for 18, including 9 extras.

Don't get me wrong, but I think that says more about the opposition than it does for the batsmen.

Plus, it's a junior cricket game, why wouldn't you retire the kids or something and let the other nine guys have a go?

Gives me another reason to hate Indian cricket. Always in it for the wrong reasons.

RR of 18.025 rpo.
The 2 batsmen said that at around the 600 mark they were told that they were within 38 runs of the partnership record and bcos of that, they SLOWED down bcos they were under pressure.
yeah, Right, under pressure at 0/600 ?
what would they have scored if they didn't slow down?

1/2004 Australia vs India (Super International Cricket)

I remember once in a junior under 16s game my team chased down over 400 to win. We got there in the last over.

There was a woodville game where they were 6/78 after a 7th wicket partnership of 300 they got all out for 500 odd

For those who have seen the size of the oval (Davenport Square in macclesfield), they'd understand how that score could be achieved. Boundries would be about 30 metres.

In this years Myer Sheild, the Great Southern cricket association hit 370 off there 50 overs, which included 100 off 6 overs, and 200 off 11 overs towards the end of the game. No centuries either! team effort, and a record for that competition i believe!

(half the boys hadn't slept the night before either!)

Current Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka 7/644 dec. Jayawardene 240, Samaraweera 231.
Pakistan 6/765 dec. Younis Kahn 313, Akmal 158* n.o.

How would you like being a bowler/fieldsman in Pakistans inngs? 248.5 overs for only 6 wkts  Thats more than 3 times as long as us country folk spend in the field on any one day.
