Great batting performance in Saint Ignatius First XI Cricket

Postby bulldogproud » Mon Feb 18, 2008 10:43 pm

On Saturday, I was fortunate enough to witness the first ever double century by a student representing Saint Ignatius College. Against Pulteney (who made 170), Brendan Connelly retired after making a beautiful 200 (291 minutes, 234 balls, 20 boundaries). He played strokes all round the ground, showing excellent timing and placement. By the way, he is the brother of Kensington A-Grader Patrick.
