Brooklyn Park (I know they're only in div 4) have a pretty good all rounder in Trent Surch. Could easily play in any div 1 side I reckon, bowls quite sharp & leads the batting averages I think.

The Rainsfords at Brooky Park aren't bad cricketers either..

Unfortunately the better cricketer of the two has a heart the size of a pea. :? Actually, I think it's only half a split pea... :P  If you played half your games on that postage stamp of an oval as a batsman, anything under 500 runs per season would be a disappointment. ;)

I'm loving all this debate. Bara and Noel Craig I think you two can take the credit for that.

Anyway I'm hoping you guys can help me. Now I know the Association side goes away next season, but what if it had to go away this year. Who would be in your team? And would there be room for Rob O'Gorman?
I wish I was as good a cricketer as what Phantom tells me he is

NO......... not being nasty, but from the one game I seen him play NOOOOOOO.
WOULD BE NICE IF WE COULD FILL A REALLY STRONG SIDE FOR THE AWAY TRIP NEXT YEAR.
no offence to rob , but dont think he would benefit the squad, he is a big hitter and a funny man but does not have a lot to offer. sorry mate only room for one big hitter ;)

DKL’s 11

J.Borgas
Smith
MacDonald
Reidy
A.Frith
O’Gorman
Marshall
Holland
Henderson
Balding
Clarke

O'gorman is a must. Might not be picked on batting or bowling ability but the bloke is the best sledger in the comp!
