Pretty standard from what I've experienced at West Torrens
abuse everyone and if you don't get what you want
blame everyone else or make excuses for your poor behaviour

Is this why West Torrens created this last month

I don't know much about West Torrens, but it is always one thing creating a feel good document on a calm Wednesday night when sitting around with a can of coke and a meal.
But as soon as the pressure of game day comes around and the umpire says play. It is every man, woman and dog for themselves. It is a cultural thing 98% of the time and these documents do nothing except make the clubs feel good for a week or two.

bout 5 Hours 20mins into the stream is said decision. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMy4fkKdHY8&t=10s

Hardly a howler and can hear the umpire say umpire yourselves as he walks off.

Wow
Fairly stock standard decision. Played a half volley from an off spinner with his pad.

The batsman didn't seem to mouth off himself to a huge degree though? Did some comments come from the boundary perhaps?

Clearly outside the line of off stump for mine.
Given the camera angle its hit him a long long way outside off.

With that said, use your bat champ.

You need to go to "Spec Savers" mate. He clearly played at the ball, it turned more than anticipated, It's not as if he booted the bloody ball away.
I agree with you it was clearly a shocker. I went back a fair bit and it appeared the young fellow was taking guard on off stump a lot of the time to the spinner and had been hit well outside stumps to stumps.
Have seen too many Barry Crockers this season.

Overnight scores.

Glenelg 240 vs Northerns 0/0
Northerns just fell short chasing 160 last game against Kensington. They'll have to bat at their best to beat Glenelg.

Kensington 168 vs TTG 7/103
Kensington have looked in trouble most games this season, but manage to bowl the opposition out for less than they score and look like they'll do so again.

Southerns 179 vs Woodville 2/64
Woodville should chase this down comfortably.

West Torrens 8/304 vs Port
After a 94 run opening stand, WT were in trouble at 5/139. Fallins and Davidson both scoring 80's and adding 164 for the 6th wicket before another collapse just prior to stumps, thanks to Benton (6 wickets), give Port a chance to roll the Eagles early tomorrow and have plenty of time to chase what is already a decent total. With Port's batting strength, an extra 30 odd could be very handy.

Sturt 9/329 vs Prospect
Perhaps a little surprising Sturt haven't already declared to have a crack at Prospect before Stumps. Having already lost two outright and just doing enough to save an outright last game against East Torrens, Sturt should be aiming for 20 wickets on day 2 in this game.

East Torrens 9/339 dec vs Adelaide 0/4
East Torrens look to be climbing quickly up the ladder after a slow start to the season. I don't think Adelaide will die wondering and will have a crack at the win, which gives East Torrens plenty of chances.

Could definitely see that, his bat had some serious ping

We were both filling in for a town near where I live Brinkworth. They had 4 kids under 16 and Dan was great with all of them both in the field and then when he batted with them.

The opposition were a bit filthy on him playing but the kids from Brinkworth absolutely loved having him out there and no doubt were inspired seeing what 5 -10 levels of quality above looks like

Some important results today

Jets hold out against Glenelg for a draw

Port likewise against West Torrens. Eagles batted into the 105th over which they may regret now

Wins for East Torrens over Adelaide and Sturt over Prospect.

Kensington outright winners over TTG. Looked to be pretty late on Day 2 that they got the last wicket

The Ladder after Round 6

Kensington* 90 (SD next round)
West Torrens* 80 (Wood)
Glenelg 70 (Bye)
Port 60 (Pros)

University* 60 (ET)
Sturt 60 (Adel)
Woodville* 50 (WT)
East Torrens 45 (Uni)

Northerns* 30 (TTG)
Southerns 30 (Kens)
Tea Tree Gully 30 (ND)
Prospect 25 (Port)
Adelaide* 10 (St)

*had the bye

Woodville and East Torrens have jumped out of the danger zone heading in to Christmas. Both these clubs have an opportunity after Christmas to push themselves into finals contention.

Northern Districts vs Tea Tree Gully after the break looms as a huge game. Must win for both teams, particularly last years Grand Finalists given they still have the bye come.

Tough games for Southerns, Prospect and Adelaide. Glenelg with 4 weeks off over Xmas - party time!
