I think that would be being friendly to whoever is in control. I'd expect it would be just a matter of selecting the correct column to sort by.

Isn't he only 17 or so?

His dad bowled pretty quick from what I've been told. Played a lot of Adelaide Turf cricket.

Played against his dad and his grandfather.
Both great bowlers.

Southerns get a draw with Port. Josh Barrett 151*

Kensington scrape through against Glenelg

West Torrens cruise home vs Sturt. Woodville likewise vs TTG

Uni easily over Adelaide

East Torrens winners vs Prospect and it looks like they're going for an outright. 6/87 off 10 overs in 2nd dig. Need 118. Not sure how many overs left. 4 if I've counted correctly

I'm hearing there was a bit of controversy at the 2nd Grade Sturt v West Torrens yesterday. Apparently one of the umpires walked off and left the game? Copped a heap of abuse from some WT people after giving a howler decision? Anyone got mail on this?

bout 5 Hours 20mins into the stream is said decision. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMy4fkKdHY8&t=10s

Hardly a howler and can hear the umpire say umpire yourselves as he walks off.

Wow
Fairly stock standard decision. Played a half volley from an off spinner with his pad.

The batsman didn't seem to mouth off himself to a huge degree though? Did some comments come from the boundary perhaps?

Embarassing a grade cricket club is stupid enough to say shit to the umpire, its never going to bring any good all its going to do is get your fired out. If I was that umpire I'd have a trigger finger and tell em to shove it.

Jesus…..thought it hit him outside off stump but hardly a howler.

Given the direction the batter headed not sure any spectators or team mates watching were in a position to critise.

Embarrassing for grade cricket.

My understanding was the Ump in question was quizzed at the lunch break by an earlier WT batter given out LBW, then he got chirped by the non striker after the 2nd LBW & subsequently left the ground, grabbed his gear & drove off.

Pretty standard from what I've experienced at West Torrens
abuse everyone and if you don't get what you want
blame everyone else or make excuses for your poor behaviour

Big games this weekend .............. high stakes

Adelaide playing East Torrens

Sturt playing Prospect

Woodville playing Southern District

Clubs playing for their future ..... Beginning of BBL means that for some teams players will be missing for a number of games, provides a chance
for a few teams to be more competitive over the coming games

Josh Barrett having a big say and will be a key wicket

From what I can gather, for those that have played Premier Cricket so far this season:

Sturt will lose Tom Kelly to the Strikers.
Adelaide will lose Ben Manenti to the Strikers.
West Torrens will lose Harry Nielsen to the Strikers and Spencer Johnson to the Heat, but gain Daniel Drew and Jordan Buckingham from the Redbacks.
Kensington will lose Henry Thornton to the Strikers and Alex Ross to the Thunder, but gain David Grant from the Redbacks.
Port will gain Jake Carder from the Redbacks.
Glenelg will gain Nathan McSweeney and Liam Scott from the Redbacks.
East Torrens will gain Jake Lehmann from the Redbacks.

Carey, Head, Agar, Conway, Hunt, Weatherald, McAndrew and Dogget are also in BBL squads, but are yet to play a Premier Cricket game this season.

The Ladder after Round 5

West Torrens* 75 (Port next round)
Glenelg 65 (ND)
University 60 (bye)
Kensington* 60 (TTG)

Port 55 (WT)
Sturt 40 (Pros)
Woodville* 30 (SD)
Southerns 30 (Wood)

Tea Tree Gully 30 (Kens)
East Torrens 25 (Adel)
Prospect 25 (St)
Northerns* 25 (Glen)
Adelaide* 10 (ET)

*had the bye

Blokes at the work show today were saying that Buckingham is going to be a substitute player for Head in the Strikers group

One of them was saying that a couple of clubs have additional players coming in from overseas before Christmas

I have heard that the Strikers are very confident about the team they have this season

I also heard today with the blokes at work that young bowler Johnson has been offered a contract in Queensland for two years

It seems surprising they would let another young quick go from Adelaide, seems to be similar to Ryan Harris

They might regret letting a young player go after the work they have done in SA

What has happened about that first grade 20/20 game they were meant to have at Northern Districts where they forgot to prepare the wicket

Last I heard there was a protest from Prospect about the Northern Districts club not preparing a wicket

It seems unusual to have a first grade competition where clubs can not prepare wickets or put the covers on

Hopefully Prospect will be given the points for the game, seems a fair result to me

Prospect got the points as Northern got disqualified

Clearly outside the line of off stump for mine.
Given the camera angle its hit him a long long way outside off.

With that said, use your bat champ.
