Interesting first wicket in the 2nd Grade Women's final - MANKAD!!

Don't see that very often - did not appear to be any warnings given by the bowler leading up to it.

Personally, don't like it. Unless they have been warned twice, then bad luck.

Karma for Glenelg in the end with both their Women's teams losing yesterday

Where is the SA Women's 1st grade Final?
Strwaming on You tube/match centre

How good is SA cricket?

SACA had the chance to do Men’s final too but said was too expensive. They really don’t care.

When WT won triple premiership five years ago the prize money for all three totalled around $30k. Prize money this season is…………..ZIP

What an absolute joke this organisation is, no reward to Clubs who achieve the ultimate success, they are just making it as hard as possible so clubs have to fold on their own!

Eagles 2014 - Does receiving ZIP hurt the Eagles chances of recruiting the interstate lads that SACA will recruit ?

We don't pay any players, let alone our recruits. They all just want to come to us, nice location, great culture, fantastic coach, win premierships.

We had to turn them away last year, hence why we sent Doggett in your direction :D (and McAndrew to Woodville).

Very strategic with who we wanted, with the keys being Fallins and Buckingham. They were the two key players and it worked out exactly as planned.

We have two signed for next year already coming over from NSW who will dominate the competition also, cover for couple we may lose if say Gibson returns home if doesn't get a contract.

Sure beats losing finals year in, year out - even flowed on to the Women's program :D

will have to change the clubs name to eastern states eagles then but at least the extra depth means your 2s might win a game next year

Bitter, not :D

You and Kensington can with the B, C and D Grade flags if you want, means nothing at the end of the day (besides to those 11 players).

We use them for development, at one stage our 2nd Grade was nearly our Under 18 Shield team.

The fact 10 of our 13 in the premierships were WT juniors disputes your theory, will be the same next year.

With West Torrens having their Presentation night at Woodville on the weekend. Is this the first sign of small steps towards a merger?

In lieu of payment provision of a nice vehicle for Mr Lindsay Buckingham instead (bankrolled by a club associate)? :)
Heard on the grapevine over the weekend that an up and coming young spinner from a club located on the other side of town might be on the way there as well?

One warning is enough as far as I'm concerned, being a GF though the non-striker should be more observant to the rules instead of trying to crib.

Yes, it is Busbridge's job, don't think he is involved anymore.

He resigned - has a new role outside of cricket.

Got a name for this spinner? Aren't many young ones coming through from what I've seen.

Zero connection. Henley clubrooms not appropriate for our presentation night. Eagles club suited our needs and offered a good package. Was there 20/21 season and also 19/20 until cancelled by Covid.

It was at the WWT football club NOT the Woodville cricket club.
