Thats him. Played at Salisbury West as a junior and in one A Grade flag as a teenager from memory..

Was determined to play district cricket so he left Westies and spent time at a few clubs until one gave him a decent chance. Most blokes give up after failing to crack the boys club but full credit, he just tried another. Eventually played something like 100 district games. Was some talk he might end up having a year or two back at the old stomping ground to finish with but we're still working on that one. ;)

Top of A1, brushed aside their opponents in the T20 with ease.. i'd be stupid not to rate them!

I was only taking the p!ss, to even get the chance to play Payneham we will have to turn on the best 40 overs of cricket we have played, and i'm not sure how many in our side have experience on turf either so will be interesting.

Our bowling is our weak point at the moment, and Goodies batting appears their strength, so in the next couple of weeks I need to work out how we are going to combat that - hopefully Kenty becomes available next game.

Our bowling stock's about to hopefully have a huge injection with a close mate of mine coming out tonight. Was a yard or two quicker than Jimmy & opened the bowling in district and A 1 turf for a long time. He hasn't played in a couple of seasons. Rest assure he's on the comeback track.. Was frighteningly fast. See how he goes..

I share the same view with several other "bowlers" that are currently running around PDCA.. and I use the term "bowler" loosely..

This weekend poses some interesting scenarios!

If Angle Vale win, we could very well see Rosies drop out the 4 and a log jam from 2nd-5th!

Hmm points are at a premium at this time of the season..
