Not going to reveal names but a player they have approached is still a teenager and he tore the blacks a new one during a 20/20 encounter last season.

I suggest before you start throwing stones SMAC you look at your clubs record, I quote, Porter, Roros. So do not come on here and act all innocent. Your work environment is filled with people that under the guise of doing players a favour, come to our club and play for us. And despite being continually advised you employer does absolutely nothing about it. Clean up your act before you even dare to suggest to other clubs how to behave and act.

I disagree that leaving no stone unturned is a positive approach - it's not a great look if you are a junior/young senior coming up in a club that is actively recruiting to replace you. I'm a big believer in having some credibility as a club and this move shoots it in the foot.

So SMAC, where does this 15 year old kid live, mmm, how did he get to ND in the first place. Overlook that did you, don't go sprouting rubbish on here, you will get caught out because some people know more than you do.

Raw nerve?

What about the 16 year old from Gawler?

Not sure what my employer has to do with it either.

There's a difference between a young player getting the shits with his club and wanting to leave vs a rival club actively trying to recruit a young player.

Re West Torrens, on the money about Crossthwaite. Have also picked up a pace bowler from a neighbouring club.
However, not sure you are on the money re Dan Cullen.

Fast bowler from Glenelg I think Bulldog.

Torrens looking the goods this year - look to have the depth that we've lacked in the past few years when the redbacks players are unavailable - spot on with the names put up so far, with a couple more potential extras on the radar.

Interested to hear other peoples/clubs thoughts on how Darren Berry will effect your club. I know we were over the moon to ehar that he would make State Players available for club training on thursdays - invaluable for some of our younger players to have the redback lads available at training and would expect the overall quality of training to improve as a result.

Went to my first cricket training in about 4 years on monday night, was a non compulsory session consisting of a bit of fitness and fielding, was good to get back out there. was decent numbers considering and a good feel about the place.
Plenty of new faces out at Port since I last played with some quality players returning or coming over to the club.
Tell ya what I was sore yesterday from it though!

The first training is the worst, after 3 net sessions my body is still cooked  great to get back into it! We have had good numbers average around 40.... some good young lads coming through and all willing to listen and learn which is good!

WT will be very hard to beat, extremely strong at full strength, and built a very good side without the state players with the new recruits they have got.

How long until the Draw comes out? Wouldnt mind knowing soon, might book a holiday!

Heli, look at last years program and progress two games and presto, you have the draw, just need the dates that your clubs has for the rounds and you can book away.

40 in July...you gotta be kidding me!?! Obviously no blokes at TTG play footy in the winter?

We're averaging between 60-70 players to our sessions FS. 8)

Wish it was that easy. Need to have a look at how many Sunday games there are, when they are scheduled and also look at the One Day and T20 competition dates. A huge amount varies from year to year.
Cheers
