Remuneration negotiable based on experience. Candle lit lunch with either S Brown or J Sibbick encluded in sign on fee.

People from clubs stuck in grade 2 at Uley road need not apply.

PM me for details.....

I have just come from the OTH preso night where I have heard on good authority that Don Pearce was going to be umpiring the grade 1 grand final until after consideration they decided with everything that was said on the forum that it would be best if he did grade 2 instead. He was spewing too. Great stuff lads!

Was speaking to a local umpire the other night "Alf Mathews" and i thought i would ask about the grade 1 para districts grand final his reply was that Rose & Crown were simply outplayed. After reading the scoreboard i had already gathered that however that wasn't the comment that interested me, He than went on to say that Rose & Crown were very sore losers. After reading a few posts on here im not sure he is far from the truth. He said a few of the Rose & Crown players had big mouths and even bigger ego's.

Who actually thought they would have taken the result gracefully tho?

Don't think Alf will have to put up with those kind of problems anymore tho.

Sore losers? We shook hands and then got on it... Not sure either side would of hung around for a drink and to talk about the game.. We had a great night and prob a bigger one than the premiers did..
Sure there was controversy about the umpires but in all we were outplayed, i can see how a umpire would think we were sore losers, as they heard what we said about a few huge decisions that didnt go our way, but hey thats cricket..
Yes i was shattered about losing and should be, so im not going to suck up brahmas ass as there wouldnt be to many in the team i would hang around and drink with... I said well done to sibb for winning the medal, cause i meant it..im not going to say well done brahma for winning the gf...because i wouldnt mean it....
But good luck to them next season...

I suppose down your way you would have plenty of disputes over spelling of words and authenticity of words, you'd need an umpire to avoid all the brawls that ensue..
