Was a good format with the brownlow style count though...

The red ones didn't get an invite. There were quite a few that could've gone a few different ways, Browny & Jimmy were touch and go with a few.

As far as i can remember they didnt announce a Para Districts team of the year,
there were blokes who were named in the SAMCA team of the year but no Div1 PDCA team of the year was announced.

Come on mate, don't let the truth out just yet, let us argue about it first. Did they do a brownlow-like count?
On a side note, I seen at about 4am this morning a classic match between West Ham & Tottenham in 07, 3 goals in the last 5 mins, you guys had it then lost it 4-3, looked like a beauty......memories?

Yeah they had pre counted all the 1 & 2 votes and the leader board up after those votes had been counted. Shane Rundle was infront at that point with 9 votes.
Then they procedded to read out all the 3 vote getters from each game round by round with an updated ladder at the end of each round. Was displayed on a power point presentation showing the ladder and 3 vote getter from the previous round.
Was well done.
Yeah West Ham and good memories arent usually used in the same sentence but that is one occasion i remember fondly.

Sh!t, that exceded what I thought he'd get, must've picked up a couple where the ump chose ball over bat.
I have a good idea for next season then if they are doing it that way. Our club does sensational sit-down meals now and are well priced, I'll be pushing to hold a count at Smithfield next season on the week leading up to the GF.
They could do the whole count as it wouldn't need to be compressed, everyone in attendance would be there to see who the winners will be.
Well done PDCA, getting with the times, I have a list of other things that would step up the comp for next season, roll on AGM.
