I am officially inviting Catchit to play along side me next season as he has played his usual duration at his current club. I'm not sure he has enough room in his wardrobe for another club shirt though! ;)
There once was a bloke named Fracka,
Scored runs since he was a young tacka,
But alas not anymore,
his shot selection's been poor,
and now they call him QUACKA!!

LM...how is the medal being done this year?

Same as any other year as far as I know mate. I think the problem you'll find is that it's a bit easier for blokes like Pargs to poll votes as he has less players in his team that step up with big performances.
As for you guys, there's only 3 players that can poll in a match, Brookesy's ton probably only yielded him 2 votes thanks to Jim's 11 fa. When you have yourself, BJ, Morton, Jimmy, 10am shadow, Brooksey, Russ all ptiching in, there can only be 3 vote-getters per game.
Going through the matches, you guys probably will get jipped a bit as you had more all-round performers, as for Sibbs, when he played well, he owned the game.
Westies are in the same boat as you guys along with the Vale who had 3 or 4 regular contributors.
At the end of the day, I would never expect to see the 10 "best" players up there in the current format, only if they were spread out more throughout the teams.

Should the medal be decided by a different format? Something like the AFL players MVP, but done by each teams captain?

I thought 05/06 was a shared premiership between SW and R&C?

Just found it intersting that its not what the Grade 1 trophy has on it?

Who knows, I guess there's no right or wrong answer, I don't think the "mycricket" points system is a very accurate reflection though either.
As long as Sibbs or Justin win this years then it would be fitting so there would be no reason for change.

In the BLG we have a 3 2 1 voting system. At the end of each game the umpire does one and both captains sit down together and do one
Back to the creek it is.
