I mean yes....Pretty sure Adelaide Lutheran beat our A grade.
Our B grade won outright, and our C grade lost in a one dayer to Enfield despite one of the best displays of fast bowling you're ever likely to see....

Sounds like your B Grade will be downing some throphies tonight then. First win in quite some time hey? 2 years I believe! And I don't think the C grade result was suprising. Was it a flogging?

Good to see some clubs have given up on finals and are sending players to lower grades.
I guess some permits need to be issued.

yeah, no kidding... Which players and clubs are you referring to?

...and what sort of statement is "I guess some permits need to be issued?" That doesn't make any sense, the season is only five matches old. What the...?

Which para vista player is asking.
And the person the comment was directed to will understand.

Ill name you, one of the better bats in your club and have consistently hidden in the lower grades for a fair while but anyways back up your original statement about our club having given up and sending players to the lower grades.

WOW  I mean that Test Match in India was a ripper ;)

Rose Park 252 def NEK 193

NEK were off to a great start today thanks to their openers Ratos and McKenzie (spelling? ) as they got to the tea break being 0/117, and Rose Park looked to be up that bad smelling creek without a paddle. From there things changed with 3 wickets taken in the first 3 overs after the break to bring the game back to level pegging, until the equation became too great for NEK before being bowled out for 193. Ian Henderson bowled the best 'None For' spell he could imagine with 17 overs straight but it was the man with no surname Nathan Bruce-Gordon and my man to rival Jon Smith for the Brownlow, in Jeff Clarke who both bowled unchanged from tea that got Rose Lakes the victory. Bruce-Gordon ended up with 4/40 and Clarke 6/48. Looking forward to tomorrow's T20 but with Wehrman, Bruce-Gordon, Henderson, Spencer and even O'Gorman unavailable we're battling for 11 players  :(

Adelaide Lutheran Cs defeated Wingfield outright before 2pm today.
Wingfield made 31 in their second innings with Dave Fitzsimmons taking 8/15 (all 8 wickets, only 9 players) to go with his 6/10 in the first innings. Match figures of 14/25 which is the best in the history of our club.

PS Wingfield's attire would make Seaton look like professionals, I think blue or black would have beaten white as the most common colour...

Lol, that we Fitzroy get accused of hiding a player in our C Grade when he was only in because we did Enfield a favour by playing a one dayer because they could not get a team together for a two day game. We help out Enfield and then get accused of stacking our C grade? WTF.

Next time we will say get stuffed and take the forfiet.

Maybe you should look at your club up to their old tricks playing 8 players in B Grade but have 11 in C's.
But thats ok, the most important team at Enfield the C grade won so all is ok.
