ingle farm is being told he cant play for work reasons, so there is no way he could play for sals west ;)
a shame really cause i was looking forward to playing with him.. but hey work pays the bills

from what i have heard from my mates at Ingle Farm, Chad sent a message saying he couldnt play 90 minutes before the start of the game saying he had to stay at work and that work told him that they pay his bills. then half an hour later he said he could play, im sure the coach doesnt need to worry about this sort of stuff on game day.
Chad apparently did the same thing last year at Kilburn, one week saying he could play next week saying he couldnt, making up excuses about injury, work etc.
But hey if he wants to go back to Salisbury West and try and win a premiership in the PDCA while the comp and Grade 1 is at its weakest it has ever been then good luck to him.
Must be a great thrill to beat a side like Brahma Lodge or Angle Vale or even ATCO???

ease up Turbo on bagging clubs - I will agree PDCA is not the force it once was but there are some quality kids playing in the comp and at the end of the day everyone wants to play in a flag

not sure he is bagging any clubs.. more sounds like its a issue with chad not being straight up...

well that seems correct. very dissapointing from ingle farms view.

what happened not as easy on turf out there or the team isnt winning?

the bowling in the first game that chad played was average to say the least.. so nothing about being to hard..
Was that the match against Para Hills catchit? The one you lost and got rolled for a fairly average score?
yes and yes.. we were not rolled because of a gun bowling line up.. yeah they bowled in the right spots but the pace was a little down to what we were used to from training and ect.. some tried to hit the ball harder than usaul and some were a bit unlucky..
to answer your question chad would of left whether we won or lost.. was just a matter of time...IMO

I just heard from Trav's mate that he can't go back to PTCC til next season, they should start a recruiting drive of former PTCC players now.

I used to play A grade at Para Hills, and the bowling attack now is a far far cry from what it used to be. The bloke who took 5 for, O'Connor, can be best described as a slow slow medium pacer lol. Top bloke, but makes me laugh when I think he could get a 5 for.

As for relevance of this post to the Para Districts, I'm sure PH's attack would have being of a bottom 2 standard in our comp. No comparison to the bowling attacks of our league.

Staying from what I hear, a few politics concerned now, he shouldn't have been told that he could play out there in the first place, we have no hard feelings, you can't blame a life member for wanting to go back to his old club when they are in trouble.

Yeah i know Clemo, on his day very very quick but that was a few years ago. Almost killed me one day in the indoor nets at ST Jays, bowled a short ball I didn't see and it wizzed passed my head. I have never been so scared lol. I believe he may have slowed down a tad but I assume he would still be sharp for sure. I was speaking to a guy from PH today, went along the same lines at what you said, still have 3 bowlers to return.

O'Connor is very much like Unknown, but I would say O'Connor is quicker by a tad lol. Rely on the batter having a brain fade and getting themselves out. I must say though, Unknown's first over against Virginia was nothing short of awesome, 2 wickets, both bowled!!!!

I hear one of Para Hills A grade bowlers is an Afghani bloke who was playing his second real game of cricket. Until 3 weeks ago had only ever played with a tennis ball.
