Well, that rates up there as a very satisfying win. Ramblers finally have a win for the year.

Bowled sharks out for 180-odd chasing 217.

How did other teams go?

That is a good win by the ramblers. Be interesting game between us next week 8) .

Not too often a side that makes it almost undefeated to the GF one year and end up 0-3 the next year. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of blokes i say.

Our game was interesting today. A game played in great spirits throughout until the last 25-40 runs of our chase when it got a little heated as the game drew very close. A pretty ordinary chase by us but we got there in the end which is the main thing. Scotty Luders riding his luck early but got going and was very good. Very happy to get an outright this early in the year. Makes up for our round 1 loss and will help us cover the next few games when we have lots of players unavailable.

We lost by a wicket today, should of could of would of won, not enough runs o the board, great effort from our bowlers. Full marks go to the Bulls lower order. Special mention to Tight Lines, great sportsmanship mate. Always a great contest between the Gulls and the Bulls, a healthy respect for one another.

All iv wanted to type since i heard the ramblers got up, was

GO YOU RAMBLERSSSSSSSS

Couldnt be happier to see ICC Sharks 0 and 3. Remember they have Glenelg and Pympton IIRC in the last 2 rounds. They will need one outright and no more losses before then to make the 4. Good work AF and Roseboy!! Very happy to see the ramblers get up over the sharks.

Great win by our boys. Always hard bowling a side out twice, and to do it with fair ease (84 and 132) is a fair effort IMO. Next week will be a huge test with 3 players out from this weeks win. Two of those including Pressy n Hopkins.

TL and Bazza, heard NH got a wicket on a no ball when Sheidow were 9 fa, is this true?? Sounds like a cracking game between sheidow and NH once again.
Bazza, great sportsmanship by TL, care to explain? Did he get a dodgy one or walk from an edge???

Only the good blokes walk Bazza. Good to hear TL is one of them. Must have been a great finish to your game.

Our D grade played Clapham today, when both teams got there they discovered that a motorbike had ripped up the brand new matting that had been laid this year. the captains rang an executive and he said "just play at one end". Im glad Bloods is the start of the new generation of executive members cos as much as I respect the current committee for what they have done for the association, I really think that some of them have lost touch with the our great game.

Obviously a lot of difference between us two in sportsmanship. Shows why you win backyard to often coz you are a cheat :D ;) .

if you are out then walk. It does suck though when you ain't out and the buggers give you out.

Much respect to TL.

Bummer, err... I mean, well done to WYC for the outright ;) Nah seriously, good job, never easy to get.

With the D-grade game and the dodgy pitch - I actually think that's a reasonable suggestion by the association to play from one end. Without being rude, D-grade is mainly for guys just wanting to have a game... this way, at least they get that. It's not like it was for an A-grade game where the whole ground had been ripped up mid game or anything which would potentially cost a team a final's spot... ;)

SCORES IN Geez we have some shocking scorebooks some clubs obviously dont have an E and F grade.

At one stage today we lost 3 for 0 and 5 for 17 to start the day and had Peewee come in after a lateeeeeeee Friday night. Great game, great to see young Tys Brown in his third A grade match show nervs above his age to help Keith get us home hes been very impressive pulled off some good stops late against Ramblers with the gloves late Rnd 1 and kep out Stanley when he was firing last week now today great debut so far. A real Swans and Eagles trend going between us sides now always close and just great games to play in good respect for each other.

The other thing I hit it, it carried to the keeper thats OUT end of story Mal is another who walked today Why hang around when you know yourself your out, must say to altough you laughed it off Baz not a good sledge by our young bloke well done for laughing it off and getting on with it there are alot that wouldnt had taken that well and like i said to you hes got the White Line fever just needs to control that properly or word it better.

it would have to be a very cold day in hell for me to walk!!!! thick edge to keeper, still no chance, only when the umpires fingers goes up, im off.... to many bad decisions against me to do otherwise!!!!

bad luck to pfcc 2's, good effort... however can't drop esy catches in big situations and expect to win....

Ok I know its old but i went over our fines from Rnd 2 now i put these scores in Sunday morning i went from F grade up to A and made sure they added up and everything was right. I did our A grade last and we copped a fine for late A grade scores so obviously ive put these in 5 minutes late and we get fined so you dont say that isnt harsh? Yet there is a certain side that hadnt put theres in from Rnd 1 until last week getting the same fine.

RB i understand your point. Either way, if it was cancelled or continued from one end, i think the right decision was made.

And why the bummer RB??? ;) Great win for u boys. Couldnt be happier to see ICC fall 0/3.

Is it near impossible for them to make the 4 now?? Thoughts?
