Last B grade to win a Div 2 flag was Salisbury West, but not sure if the A grade won as well that year.

OK, late 80's I'd imagine when it was North & South, it was a pretty fierce competiton back around then, I wouldn't think there would've been too many B teams in Grade 3 back around then.

Grade 3 GF this week should be a cracker with Atco playing Eastern Park.

Both minor round games were decided in the last couple of over with the Dees chasing down 298 in the 2 dayer to win and then Atco chasing down 153 in the last over of their one day match.

Two absolute contrasting sides, Eastern Park only have 1 player over the age of 28 and 6 players 18 years or under, while i dont think Atco have a player under the age of 30 (could be wrong but positive thats the case).

Pumped as!

fair call, one thing i do love about playing with these young lads is their no fear attitude, there not intimidated or worried about playing against names, to them its just another opponent, great attitude to have imho.

Sutton (ATCO) A grade, div 1 last year B grade div 3 this year.
Costanzo (SW) A grade div 1 last year C grade div 4 this year.
Paterson (BL) A grade div 1 last year C grade div 5 this year.
Kubsch (R&C) A grade div 1 last year C grade div 6 this year.
Feltus (R&C) A grade div 1 last year B grade div 4 this year.

Competitions and grades are littered with examples. Deal with it.

true but none have dominated though except costanzo....

Feltus would be playing Div 1 but injury on his elbow has killed him.

Even if a club has 13 blokes to fill just 1 side there will be debate about who the best 11 is. Make that 60-70 blokes to fit into 5 teams and there's going to be plenty of people who think some guys are playing too high and some playing too low. Paterson from BL had a great year in grade 5, 500 runs and 28 wickets says he could well have played higher.

Just the nature of the comp. Unless we're going to bring in a rule that you can never drop back down the grades we're going to have this debate year after year.
