You are partly correct. A1 still played but all other grades were called off. That I'm 100% sure of.

I think you are right now.

For your information the CUSA Cup round of matched scheduled for 1 February 2009 has also been cancelled.

Thank you for your support with this decision, ATCA places emphasis on its responsibility regarding player and umpire safety.

Are players in A1, A2 and A3 less human than everyone else? Absolutely baffles the mind. If it's too hot for some, it should be to hot for all

Clubs in lower grades that play on schools or parklands etc. dont have the use of clubrooms that the Agrade sides have with aircon, running water and less volunteers could be a factor SD
Thats what im talkin aboooouuuut!!!!!!

I understand what you are saying about clubrooms, air con, etc. however from a legal argument that it is safe for the higher grade rather than lower grade it would not be agreed facts therefore not stand in court of law. Also the directors of the assoc. have a duty of care and responsibility as all directors of companies do thus leaving the assoc and themselves open to litigations.

very handy pick up...looked like you need someone to add a bit of heat to the bowling and he will do that..
