Surprisingly good, the A grade pitch was nice and hard before the rain came.. had 16mm of rain yesterday at the club. Wasn't expecting to get the heavy roller on tonight but both pitches had dried out so much that I actually had to get the hose out to re-seal them.

That pitch was a disgrace when we played there. Hadn't been under 30 degrees for 2 weeks and we got to play on a wet pitch.. outfield is no better than a cow paddock

Have some faith bulldogs. What could possibly go wrong? It's not as if the umpires will insist that you play on a dodgy pitch and then you lose the toss. That just can't happen.

ATCA have made it perfectly clear that they expects pitches to be prepared and ready to go....no excuses.

"All clubs that earn the right to host semi or grand finals MUST GUARANTEE the ATCA that curators and equipment used to prepare wickets are available on Saturday and Sunday for pitch preparation if required due to inclement weather."

They will be in A4 next year, so they might need to fine tune their facilities

We are playing at Harpers field. From all reports Golden Grove have put in some extra effort to get the pitch up, all credit to them.

Brahma got through to the GF in A3, not bad for our first year in ATCA

Rolled Ports for 160 odd - Cooper was outstanding for them making 104, controlled the game and looked to be toying with us at times!
