Mate shut up and move on, our second best 11 was good enough to accumulate 230 odd against your shamble, and then have you guys 6 down before the rain set in. It was a joke ever going out there, but after begging to get out there I honestly though some pride would have been shown, instead you guys continued to throw wickets away. Ahh well, enjoy Grade 2 again next year, Brahma Yellow look forward to playing Brahma Black in a good Grade 1 Showdown next year.

What are you on about? You can't have two teams in the same grade mate. What choice did Craigmore have but to have a slap, would've needed probably 6 to 8 an over.

More concerned about you mate...instead of being pre-occupied about defending the team you should be playing in maybe you should worry about your own form. ;)

When you 4/not many, why just keep throwing wickets away, Personally I would have gone into survival mode and stuck around to keep Brahma out there for 39 overs rather than be bowled out in 20, maybe a few of us would have caught a cold.

If you're not out there to win, you may aswell be sitting back in your clubhouse, there was no percentage in surviving, that wasn't going to get them in a GF.

Salisbury West won unfortunately, won in the wrong spirit but you get that.

Your not blaming westies for the weather i hope?
And for the record we were not aloud to set the mats up untill the pitch was dry...also it all comes down to the umpires when its raining, they decide when play starts not the players regardless on what the players are saying or doing..

Not at all Catchit, even you cant control the weather.
Read Mad Maxs comments above and I think this sums up what I had heard, a couple of guys old enough to know better but hey they won and thats what counts.

What is it with the Lodge? Are you staying or are you going? Are you waiting to see if you can win the big one before you go or do you just want to be the centre of attention?
It's not that difficult, it's a yes or no answer, I'm sure you'll get full support from the other PDCA clubs when it comes time for grading after you've been dicking most of them around.

We thought we would have a maximum of about 34 overs to make 231, so we decided to have a crack cause it was the only way we could make the GF, after 15 overs I think we were 4/80ish with about an hour to play but it was as dark as the ace of spades. After drinks I think we lost a wicket in the first couple of overs to a good catch in the conditions.
Then your bowler slipped a couple of times and the umpires said it was getting too dangerous and sent us off and said if it improved we could go back on but we decided to call it off as the conditions were not going to get any better.

What other option did Craigmore have bat out the overs, whats the point? Time and the conditions were against us but we cant control the weather, well done to Brahma on getting into the GF with days like yesterday thats why it is important to finish top 2.

I'm not playing in the game but I was there and I think its poor form to come on here half way through a game and make it sound like the umpires are responsible for you having a big chase today. Salter and Weaving played really well against your spinners (The amount of square fours and sixes tells me they bowled too short) in the middle overs and built a platform to get to that total. Credit where due, thats all.

Poor form...blah blah blah. Just stating facts. Our spinners bowled a total of 5 overs out of 70 for 30 odd runs so shows how observant you are. Anyway whatever, you guys are in the GF whether it be via poor fielding/bowling, incompetent umpiring or inclement weather. I will make sure I get my Central United coloured attire out the wardrobe this Saturday/Sunday, nothing personal.

Talk about poor fielding, Lets also run with the poor sportsmanship shown by the young Blonde lad. But nothing is sweeter than a first baller.

Magpie I was right in front of him and I believe he caught it clean, you guys were behind him and had an obstructed view, the umpire said your batsman was out.
I thought the game was played in pretty good sportsmanship except for a couple of issues where you thought he dropped a catch and we thought your batsman knicked one. Thats cricket and as your skipper said thats why we pay the umpires to make those decisions.
