Groover will back it up Catchit, just worry about your own game.

It all swings in round a bouts champ - waited a few years for this ;)

Pity the mats were not set up for the hour and a bit it actually stopped raining.

Go Brahma in grade 5, let's hope the karma bus catches up with a few sides this weekend.

Rose & Crown B grade definately dodged a bullet today IMO, we were against the ropes early, losing another wicket 1st over of the day, but fortunately our remaining batsman kept cool heads and seen out the day before the rain interupted again and ended it.

Kudos to North Pines though, never before have i seen such commitment and endevour to get a game under way, they must have had 20 people out working on the pitch for nearly 2 hours, put hay on it, did EVERYTHING to dry it up so we could get started.

They were filthy we played for the rain and went off when it began coming down, calling us bad sports etc, but in all honesty i dont care. You play 14 games in the minor rounds to give yourself the best opportunity to win a grand final, the rules are there, i dont care in the slightest, we did the hard yards during the season.

Anyway thats it for me, think i better impose a media ban on myself this week, toughest challenge ever coming up!

He will? Gee i hope he doesnt start on me when i am batting... Pretty intimidating hearing a squeak from cover.. As for my game...thats the thing.. I dont worry...
Yeah its been a while since you blokes have played in the big game..will be interesting to see if more than 1 bloke can crack double figures under xtreme pressure..

Mats weren't the issue. But they were out early, brought in at official umpire request and taken back out as soon as asked for. As per many grounds it was the usual run ups/run offs areas that were the worry.

Guess that means you weren't actually there though, just going off the scores.

Was not there but going by reports from spectators and players. Was told it was a disgrace and a player taking catches over the boundary, not good bit if that what it takes to win a final, well done.
Like I said Go Brahma in grade 5

Meh rules are there so dont blame SW if they played up to the conditions. Should've won more games during the year and finished higher  thats life buddy.

Absolutley pumped to be in a GF, obviously we would have liked to win the game in our own right but the weather is an uncontrollable, the Central United lads handled the situation extremly well and were all class and in their own right had claims to win the game. I havent been at Eastern Park the last couple of years but its great to see the excitement on the faces of a bunch of 16-19 year olds who are playing in their first A Grade finals series.

Spent the rest of the day watching the end of the Rose & Crown vs Angle Vale game, one of my lifelong mates plays for R&C so im hoping they get up in the GF, couldnt happen to a more deserving bunch of blokes. Spent a few hours in their new club rooms talking 5hite, great set up, great bunch of blokes, sorry brahma boys personally im hoping they do a number on you.

Heres to EPFC and R&C on grand final weekend.

My tip, Brookesy to top score in div 1 GF, thats the kind of smart alec his is LOL

What happens with the tips LM? Since matches were abandoned, does the win go to the home side or tips dont count?
